Hello!!

For the first equation:

[tex]-2x + x^2 + y = 8[/tex]   (Solve for y)

[tex]y = -x^2 + 2x +8[/tex]

For the second equation:

x - y = -2   (Solve for y)

-y = -x - 2

-y = x + 2

Good luck :)
