The six sided die has 6 sides (with numbers 1,2,3,4,5 and 6).  That's why the probability to roll number 2 in one trial is equal to [tex] \frac{1}{6} [/tex].If you'll dol  50 trials, then you can expect [tex] \frac{50}{6}= \frac{25}{3} [/tex] times to roll number 2 (8 or 9 times).
