Cross multiply the two fractions:

[tex] 1.6 \times p = 4 \times 0.6 [/tex]

[tex] 1.6p = 2.4 [/tex]

Divide both sides by 1.6 to get p by itself:

[tex] 2.4 \div 1.6 = 1.5 [/tex]

[tex] \boxed{p = 1.5} [/tex]
