The vast majority of the world's sugar comes from Cane or also known as Sugar Cane. Sugarcane is a tall, bamboo-like plant that is also considered as a grass. The stalk of sugarcane is the source of sugar that is processed and will create granules. You can also eat the sugar cane as raw.
