We know that the intersection of two lines is a point and that point is called the point of intersection of the given two lines.

Similarly, the Intersection of two planes is a line and it is called the line of intersection of the given two planes.

Note that the line lies on both the planes.

If the planes P and plane DCB are parallel, then, they will never intersect.

If they are not parallel, their intersection is a line.
