In chimpanzees, the pelvic girdle is not the same in female and males.

The pelvic girdle is one of the skeletal element that is used to differentiate between males and females. Female has large and more extensive pelvic girdle and round pelvic inlet than males. while males have higher iliac crests that cause their pelvic to look taller and narrow.
