With sexual reproduction, offspring are genetically unique because they get a mix of genes from mom and dad. In sexual reproduction, the male and female reproductivecells are called gametes, or simply the sperm and egg. Each gamete contains half the number of chromosomes found in other cells of the organism. I hope this helps!
