How to solve the equations below

|x−2|=x
|x+1|=1−x

Answer:

x-2=x x=0

No Solution

x+1=1-x

Cancel   1 on both sides

Subtract   −x from both sides

x+x=0

Simplify x +x  to  2x

2x=0

x=0

Check Answer

x+1=1-x

0+1=1-0

1=1-0

1=1
