Charles John Huffam Dickens ( Charles Dickens) was an English writer and social critic. Charles was deeply marked by his experiences of lonely hardship, but he considered this as the most significant event of his life. His childhood experiences most likely contributed to his success as a journalist and as the  greatest novelist of the Victorian era.
