Fish have adapted to the environment by learning to use its fins and gills underwater.

They have streamlined bodies, a lateral line system for gathering sensory input on both sides of the body, a mucus/slime coating to cover scales, thus helping to move faster in water. Some use incredible camoflauge to bkend in with their surroundings. Fins help them to steer, swim, stabilize.
