Consider the equations 5x+10=30 and 5(x+10)=30. Do they have the same solution? Why or why not?

If you simplify (take out the brackets) of this equation. 5(x+10)=30 then it would be

5 times x + 5 times 10 = 30

5x+10=30

So yes they have the same solution
