What is the equation of the line that passes through point -4,1 and 4,-6

Find the slope first using the given points:

m = -6 - 1/4 - -4

m = -7/8

Then using the formula:

y = mx + b

1 = -7/8(-4) + b

b = -3/2

y = -7/8x -3/2
