We know that on the starting day that 6 students were identified with measles, and that the next day the number doubles. So I created an equation that would add up the total of all the kids who have measles.

6 + 12 + 24 + 48 + 96 + 192

There are six numbers because there are six days, and once we add all of those up we will get 378, which means the answer is that 378 kids have measles on the 6th day of the outbreak.
