So first we need to do 2*(-2) thats easy because anything times 2is 2x. So the first one is -2+-2 or -4. The next one is also easy because anything times 1 is x so it will be -2. Next we know that 2 minuses become positive so -1*-2 = 1*2 = 2. And same goes for the next one, they cancel out yielding 2*2 = 4
