Thus, we have to understand what exactly acceleration is ---

Acceleration is basically the change in the velocity per unit time.

a = v -u/t

thus, we can say that acceleration can be positive or Negative also.

but if,there is no change in the velocity, and it will be a uniform velocity then the acceleration is ZERO
