let cp of 17 water bottle is x

cp of 1 water bottle = x/17

from the question

sp of 16 water bottles = x

sp of 1 water bottle = x/16

profit = sp -cp

        = x/16 - x/17

      =  x/272

profit % = profit /cp * 100%

            = (x/272)/ (x/17) * 100%

= 6.25%
