Find the common denominator between 2/3 and 4/5 which is 15.

It will look like this:
(10-12)/15+y=1/3

Calculated:
-2/15+y=1/3

Then Add 2/15 to the other side:
Y=1/3+2/14

Again change the denominator of 1/3 to equal 15 but multiplying the whole fraction by 5.

Y= (5+2)/15
Y=7/15
