So in order to know this we have to look at the fractions. We already know that 1/5 is larger than 1/10. To double check our work, we can convert these fractions into percents. 1/5 being 20% and 1/10 being 10%. So now that we have prooved 1/5 is larger, multiplying the larger fraction by three will give us a larger product.
