Which of the following is the rate of change given

The answer is d) -1/4 because the formula for finding the rat of change is y2-y1/x2-x1 and in this case (3,0) come second so 3 is x2 and 0 is y2 and (-1,1) comes first so -1 is x1 and 1 is y1
So now when you set up the equation it would be
0-1/3-(-1)
0-1 is -1
And 3-(-1) is 4 cause since there are two negatives the turn into positives and that’s how you get -1/4 :)
