For example the distance to a point that will be shared among the 2 x's is -5. -10 (x1) and 0 (second x value) are both 5 units away from -5. to -5 is the x of our new point: (-5, y)

Now do the same for the y value:

9-3=6

6 is the y value of our new point

(-5, 6) is your answer
