My understanding is you take 150,000 and divide by 2. That is how much is left after the first month. Then you take that number (75,000) and divide that by two. You know know how much is left after 2 months. (37500) divide by 2 again and you get the amount after 3 months. If you’ve been doing something different in class and this makes zero sense I would ask your teacher.
