Divide each term in 4m < -8 by 4.
4m/4 < -8/4
Then reduce the expression by cancelling the common factors.
m < -8/4
Simplify the right side of the equation.
Divide 8 by 4 to get 2.
m < -1*2
Multiply -1 by 2 to get -2
m < -2
