Sam is 4 times as old as Allie.

The correct answer is A) S = 4A

This is because we need to multiply Allie's age by 4 to get to Sam's since his is 4 times bigger. In C and D, we are adding numbers, which will not raise it fast enough. And in B, we are multiplying Sam's age, which will make it far too big to make the equation correct.
