Convert the equation to the slope-intercept form.
[tex]4y-6x+12=0 \\ 4y=6x-12 \ \ \ |\div 4 \\ y=\frac{6}{4}x-\frac{12}{4} \\ y=\frac{3}{2}x-3[/tex]

In the [tex]y=mx+b[/tex] form, [tex]m[/tex] is the slope.
[tex]y=\frac{3}{2}x-3 \\ m=\frac{3}{2}=1\frac{1}{2}[/tex]

The slope is equal to [tex]1 \frac{1}{2}[/tex].
