the 0 is where the y intercept is, here it goes through the origin (0,0) so it isn’t necessary to write it but it helps recognize what it does
the 8x is the slope, it goes over one and up 8 each time (each line on the y axis is worth 4, so even though it goes up 2 boxes it goes up 8 total points)
