The diameter of a semicircle is 6 meters. What is the semicircle's area?

The area formula: pi*r*r   (r stands for radius)

since diameter is given, must divide by two

6/2=3

pi*3*3=

[tex]9\pi[/tex]=

28.27433

Since its a semicircle, must divide by two.

28.27433/2=
