The slope of the line is 3

How to determine the  slope?

The points are given as:

(1,-2) and (3,4)

The slope is calculated using:

[tex]m = \frac{y_2 -y_1}{x_2 -x_1}[/tex]

This gives

[tex]m = \frac{4 + 2}{3 - 1}[/tex]

Evaluate

m = 3

Hence, the slope of the line is 3
