first make both into improper fractions by multiplying the whole number with the denominator and adding the numerator.

you will get 15/7 and 5/4

then you have to make the denominator the same, make it into 28 because 7x4 is 28.

remember to multiply the numerators too.

you will get 60/28 and 35/28.
add the numerators which will be 95
your answer will be 95/28
