Why and How is Photosynthesis like a Recipe?

Photosynthesis is like a recipe because of how it makes something grow. Think of backing a cake. It starts as a liquid batter, like cytoplasm and rises as it gets heat, like from the sun. Everything that you add into it builds the cake, like everything that makes up photo builds the flower.
