The answer is Gene theory. what they do is inject the DNA that codes for the production of the protein to help alleviate the symptoms of cystic fibrosis. the DNA is inserted into the person through a nasal spray which caries vector viruses that inject the DNA into the hosts cells which lead to the production of the protein
