If y is proportional to x and y = -15 when x = -20, what is the value of x when y = 12?

Here, x/y = -20/-15 = 4/3
x = 4y/3

So, when y = 12
x = 4(12) / 3
x = 48 / 3
x = 16

In short, Your Answer would be 16
