In slope-intercept form, what is the equation of the line containing the points (−1, 2) and (2, −1)?

y2 - y1 over x2 - x1 = slope
2 - (-1) = 3
-1 - 2 = -3
the slope is 3/-3, or -1
y = -x
2 = 1 + 1
The equation of the line is y = -x + 1
