We can say that a grain of sand weighs 0.0006g.

7200kg=7200000g

7200000/0.0006=7.2*10^(6)/6*10(-4)=1.2*10^(10)


So, you have 12000000000 (or 1.2*10^(10)) grain of sand in 7200kg of sand.
