Distance formula: [tex] \sqrt{(x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2} [/tex]

(x1, y1) = (4, 0)
(x2, y2) = (3, 2)

[tex] \sqrt{(3-4)^2+(2-0)^2} [/tex]
