The reaction of many American citizens towards the Vietnam War were protesting in public. People would march to Washington to show their antiwar protest against the government decision entering into war. Many students from colleges opposed the war on the basis that the US had no concern fighting there. Kent State University became a meaningful place for students to protest against the Vietnam War.
