Given a = 4, b = -2 and c = 8, evaluate a + b + c.

Replace the variables to what they are equal to.

4 + (-2) + 8

Now add them up.

4 + (-2) + 8 = 2 + 8 = 10

So, 10 is the answer to this question.

The answer to that is 10
a+b+c is equal to 4+-2+8
  4+-2 is the same as 4-2, which is 2.
