The formula for speed is distance / time. If shortened, S = D/T.
Our current distance is 10km.
Our current time is 0.5h.
Divide our distance by time.
10 / 0.5 = 20.
Your average speed is 20 km / h (kilometers per hour).
I hope this helps!
