f(-4) = 4(-4)+9 = -7
f(-2) = 4(-2)+9 = 1
f(0) = 4(0)+9 = 9
f(2) = 4(2)+9 = 17
the range of the function f(x) = 4x + 9 is : D' = {-7, 1, 9, 17}
