you would round 33 to 30 and 89 to 90, and you'd get 120. if the last digit of a number is above 5 or 5 you round it up, and if it's below 5 you round it down.

So for rounding to the tens place is that if it 5 and under round down and 5 and above round up.
33 to 30
89 to 90
30+90=120
