The Zhou Dynasty was one of the first dynasties that built walls and lasted from 475 BC to 221 BC.The Qin Dynasty was another wall building dynasty, which lasted for about fifteen years from 221 to 206 BC. These dynasties started the formation of The Great Wall of China.
