Earth and Venus have similar sizes. Earth's diameter is 12,756.2 km and Venus' 12,103.6 making Earth's 5% larger.
Their composition is also similar. They both have metal cores, silica rock and thin crust.

Venus is sometimes considered Earths twin because they are about the same size, mass, and have a very similar composition. It is also the closest planet to Earth within the solar system.
