 Well protons and neutrons are in the center in the atom, while electrons travel in orbitals outside of the nucleus. The electric charge for protons, neutrons, and electrons are 1, 0, and -1 respectively. the mass for protons and neutrons are 1 amu (atomic mass unit) while the electron is 1/2000 amu.
