First wall = 10 x 8 = 80
Opposite side of the first wall = same = 10 x 8 = 80
Second wall = 14 x 8 = 112
Opposite side of the second wall = same = 14 x 8 = 112
Total = 80 + 80 + 112 + 112 = 384 square feet

The area of the walls can be written as:
[tex]A_w = h(2l+2w)[/tex]

We can plug in given values:
[tex]A_w = 8(2(14)+2(10)) = 8(48) = 384[/tex]

So, your answer is 384 ft².
