A beam of electromagnetic radiation has a wavelength of 1m. What part of the spectrum is this beam from?

This radiation belongs to the microwave part of the spectrum. This radiation belongs to a VHF(Very high frequency) class. 
It is often used in FM radio, tv and radio.
This beam would follow the so-called line-of-sight propagation and it would be blocked by mountains and hills. 
This is the reason why we use very tall antennas.
