Two consecutive odd number have the form: 2n+1; 2n+3.
We have:
(2n+1)(2n+3)=399
=> 4x^2+8x+3=399
=> 4x^2+8x-396=0
=> 4(x+11)(x-9)=0
=> x=-11; x=9
