In my opinion, R in the ideal gas law claims a value of 0.08206 L*atm/(K*mol) and is a constant, which means its value would never change.
Hope this helps~

There is only one value, however this changes depending on what units are used.

ex:

0.08205 L atm / (mol·K) (as mentioned above)

R = 0.08205 L atm / mol·K
= 8.3145 L kPa / mol·K
= 8.3145 J / mol·K
= 1.987 cal / mol·K
= 62.364 L torr/ mol·K
