Lets get started :)

The area formula of a circle is
A = [tex] \pi r^2[/tex]

Notice I called it a circle because, the flower bed is circular

The diameter of this circle is 4024 ft
Therefore, the radius is [tex] \frac{diameter}{2} = \frac{4024}{2} = 2012[/tex] ft

A = [tex] \pi [/tex](2012)²
The question has asked us to use 3.14 as an approximate for [tex] \pi [/tex]

A = (3.14)(4048144)
   = 12,711,172.16 ft²
