Sulphur dioxide is a chemical compound and the formula is SO2. It is toxic gas with an irritating smell and pungent. Its produced by the product of burning of fossils fuels which are contaminated with sulfur compounds. It is found on earth in small concentration and also in atmosphere. It is found in the atmosphere of Venus and most atmospheric gas.
