the anwers is true ver is the verb come from so venri is come from or where you live

"venir" is "come", but the base form of "to come from" is "venir de" (conjugate to your needs)

using the ending "a", you would change "venir" to "venga".
"venga" is "come on", but "venga de" is "come from".
