A chemical change is a change that deals with the bonds and changes the appearance of the substance so that it cannot go back to its original appearance.
It breaks bonds or forms new ones.

Examples;-
- Baking a cake
- Cooking eggs
- Rusting iron

A physical change changes the state of an atom.

Examples;-
- Cutting a paper
- Ice melting
- Breaking a pencil
